Culture, identity and academic excellence
Who We Are
Since 1969, Escuela Argentina de Washington, DC has been a private, non-profit educational institution that accompanies generations of students in their education in Spanish, in a space for learning, connection and belonging.
Every Saturday, more than 400 students, from Preschool through Secondary, come together in our classrooms to learn in Spanish and deepen their knowledge of Language, Literature, Social Sciences and History, through an educational program that complements their schooling in the United States.
Our story began on September 20, 1969, with ten students in the Oval Room of the Argentine Embassy. More than five decades later, we keep growing as an educational community that brings students and families together around learning, culture and intercultural exchange.
Since 1972, our educational program has held national validity recognized by the Ministry of Education of the Argentine Republic.
